Turkish Sunflower Honey — The Bold, Savory Side of Sweet
Meet the honey that started it all. Our Turkish Sunflower is the base form of our beloved Turkish Sunflower Limoncello — and in its pure, uninfused state, it's a revelation all its own.
Harvested from sunflower fields in northwestern Turkey, this is a single-pollen, monofloral honey — meaning every drop comes exclusively from sunflower blossoms. The result is a honey with a distinct, consistent character you won't find in blended varieties.
How Does It Taste?
Think of a rich, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon — without the earthiness. This deep amber honey has a light tang without any bitterness, and leans ever so slightly toward the savory side, as darker honeys tend to do. It's complex, layered, and deeply satisfying.
Not as dark and heavy as Buckwheat, but with far more depth than a typical clover honey — Turkish Sunflower sits in a category all its own.
