The Honey That Took Years to Perfect.

Some products are discovered. This one was invented.

Hey Honey's Turkish Sunflower Limoncello is a completely original creation — a honey that exists nowhere else in the world. It begins with a rare, single-pollen sunflower honey imported directly from the sun-drenched fields of Northwestern Turkey, where vast sunflower and lavender farms stretch across the landscape north of Çanakkale, between the Aegean Sea and the Sea of Marmara near the legendary Dardanelles Strait.

Unlike wildflower or clover honey, this sunflower monofloral honey has a character all its own — warm, smooth, and deeply golden, without the sharpness you might expect. It is the perfect canvas for what comes next.

The Five-Step Steeping Process

What transforms this extraordinary honey into something truly singular is our proprietary five-step, multi-tiered steeping process — developed over years of experimentation. We steep the raw sunflower honey with whole vanilla beans (never extract) and thin-sliced lemon zest, layering the flavors gradually until the honey absorbs the full aromatic complexity of both ingredients.

The result is a honey that tastes unmistakably like Limoncello — the beloved Italian lemon liqueur — but without a drop of alcohol. Bright citrus up front, warm vanilla in the finish, and the golden depth of Turkish sunflower honey holding it all together.

The Perfect Dessert Amplifier

We designed this honey with dessert in mind. A drizzle transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary:

  • 🍮 Crème Brûlée — drizzle over the caramelized crust for a citrus-vanilla elevation
  • 🍰 Cheesecake — the ultimate pairing; bright lemon cuts through the richness perfectly
  • 🧀 Aged cheeses — pairs beautifully with sharp aged gouda or creamy brie
  • 🍦 Vanilla ice cream — a simple drizzle that tastes like a gourmet dessert
  • 🥂 Cocktails & mocktails — stir into prosecco or sparkling water for a Limoncello-inspired spritz
  • 🫖 Herbal teas — especially chamomile or lemon verbena

Sourced from the Fields of Northwestern Turkey

The sunflower fields where this honey originates sit adjacent to our Turkish Lavender honey farms — both nestled in the same breathtaking region of Northwestern Turkey, north of the ancient city of Çanakkale. The bees that produce this honey forage almost exclusively on sunflower blossoms, creating a true monofloral honey with a flavor profile unlike anything produced domestically.

Imported in limited quantities. Steeped in small batches. There is nothing else like it.
